    Daily bulletin

Good Morning Pine Valley! Today is Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

Tomorrow is the last day to buy Halloween Candy Grams at lunch.  Send a spirited message to your friends.  The cost of a candy gram is one dollar and will be delivered to first period classes next week.

This week is the Scholastic Book Fair!  Come check out all the fun reads.  If you would like to donate a book to your teacher, check in with Mrs. Peterson for your teacher’s wish list.  Remember, the Book Fair will be open tonight until 7pm.

Battle of the Books sign-ups are taking place in the library this week.    If you love reading and talking about books, this is the club for you.   See Mrs. Peterson or Dr. Rugani in the library if you have any questions.

Tonight is the Fall Concert for band.  The event starts at 6:30pm.

This Thursday, October 17th, is picture make-up day.  If you did not have your picture taken at the beginning of the year, or your parents would like your pictures re-taken, you can do so this Thursday.  If you are re-taking your picture, you will need to bring the original picture in to give to the photographer.  Pictures can be ordered online.

Thursday’s #SpiritDay is a way to speak out against bullying and stand with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities.  Pledging to “Go Purple” on Spirit Day is a way for everyone to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.  PV’s GSA Club thanks you for your support and wearing purple.
