    Daily bulletin

Good Morning Pine Valley! Today is Friday, April 19, 2019.

Badminton sign-ups are going on now.  The first Badminton practice is next Monday, April 22nd. Come to the office to pick up a registration packet.  See Ms. Bowman if you have any questions.

Attention 6th and 7th graders: are you interested in being an Office Aide next year?  You can request to be an Office Aide for next year by signing up in the Office.  Being an Office Aide would replace one of the electives you signed up for.  See Mrs. Loney if you have any questions.

This Friday, the 19th, is Twin Day.  Dress up the same as one of your friends.

Attention all Pine Valley Parents: We will once again be selling the Summer Skills Workbooks from Tri-C Publications this year. The following titles are available: Math Review Workbooks, Levels Pre-K through Grade 7, Basic Math Review, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, High School Review and Math for Life. For Language Arts we have Pre-K through Grade 7 Review and High School Prep. Other workbooks available are Spanish 1 and 2, French 1, Study Skills and Touch the Future Keyboarding (Recommended for grades 3 – 6). For more information, please visit

These workbooks help students to keep learning during the summer and give them valuable practice in skills already acquired. Please note that the math books now support the Common Core Curriculum and the Language Arts books are also aligned with the Common Core Curriculum. If you would like to purchase one or more of them, please print the attached order form and return to Mrs. Loney in the office at Pine Valley. If you have questions or would like to see what the Summer Skills workbooks are like, she has sample books to show you.  We will be taking orders starting Tuesday, April 9. Each workbook is $19.00. Please bring a check made out to Pine Valley Middle School for the workbooks at the time you order them. The deadline for ordering is Tuesday, April 30.
